And it’s directly related to the crashing of Rhino + NVIDIA. I have tried this on all my Adobe Products and put it to sleep, the laptop works fine. Still does the same thing.Īll the other programs work with the same graphics card settings. I have done multiple tests to mistake sure it’s not a hardware problem. However, anytime I run Rhino 6 on NVIDIA High Performance mode, and put it to sleep or leave it idle, the laptop either shuts down once it sleeps or remains powered on but not accessible, yet the fans still run. My laptop only has 1 ram slot.I have a well capable machine. And I upgraded my RAM from 8 gb to 16 gb last September. I read somewhere that it has something to do with VRAM. But after sometime, my laptop will suddenly freeze and crash "Driver Power State Failure". I am sure that it is still responsive because its utilization is moving. It only detects the GTX 1650 when the laptop is turned of for some couple of hours. The device manager cannot detect my GTX 1650. I tries installing the latest Nvidia driver from Nvidia itself and the Nvidia driver (which is much older) from manufacturer, Lenovo. This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware. This Nvidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows.
