Run the Launcher, login with your Epic account, and in the 'Library' tab you will be able to run UE according to the version included in the. additional Platform packs for UE4: Add these directly from Launcher. engine423.svm = Unreal Engine application default pack, which includes: Core Components (11.7GB), Starter Content (870MB), Template and Feature Packs (670MB), Engine Source (150MB), also Unreal Datasmith and Substance in UE included) twinmotion20195.svm = Twinmotion application pack Epic Games Launcher Portable.exe = main program and data file (the only executable included: it's REQUIRED to run anything!) svm files, just request plugins or notify me about new updates. Might be worth looking into.You can use Unreal Studio in this portable by activating the free beta on your account and logging in with it. Others with the 1603 error might actually have this issue (since that’s what the Launcher showed after installation failed). I want to thank for helping me to get this issue resolved. Hopefully this might help others and you experts at Epic to find a better way to solve this. Removing the wrong thing in the Registry is bad. Just be sure to check that the full string matches before you remove it. So I went through my Registry like this and removed all traces of that. It is possible that doing this might just freeze your Registry (it did for me at times) so just searching for the first part (F6B2F31E in my case) might be preferable. If you look at the window “UE4 Prerequisites (圆4)” (in my previous posts) and the path C:\Program Data\Package Cache\ (Your folder name might differ so just use yours). I FINALLY found the solution and 4.10.2 is now installed.
